In my point of view:-

The Rite is about a aguy named Michael Kovak, son of Istvan Kovak (his dad is involved in mortuary business ) - who joined a seminary school.

Later, Michael decided to quit school but he's been offered to become an Exorcist & went to Rome.
Michael is considered as a atheist & while he is in Rome... he witnessed something that makes him to believed & changed the way he thinks

Basically... this movie it's not just about becoming an Exorcist.
It's also about dealing what you BELIEVE... FAITH...
Things that you can't really see physically... but it does EXIST
It's not just about ghost, scare...
But dealing with something that deeper & darker...
And makes you wonder...
Makes you questioning...
You starts asking...
With all the conflicts... demons, hell... and to the only one, God!

It's quite heavy... it' does takes a lil' bit of your nerves...
Out of 5... I gave 2 1/2...
